# Embed Google Docs in Board

Step 1: Open Your Board Settings

1. **Navigate to the board** where you want to embed the Google Docs file.
2. At the top of the screen, click on the **"Add View"** button (or the plus **(+)** icon next to the existing view tabs).

## Step 2: Choose the App to Embed

1. In the dropdown menu, select **"Apps"**.
2. **The monday.com Views Center** will open, showcasing various views.
3. Find **Embed your Google Docs in Board** in installed Apps and click on **Open in board.**

## Step 4: Open the App on Your Board

1. The embedder will show up, displaying instructions on how to retrieve the URL of your document.

## **Step 5: Obtain the URL of Your Google Docs file**

1. Open a new browser tab <https://docs.google.com>
2. Select the Google Docs file you would like to embed

   Click the *Share* button in top right corner, select access access level and then click on "Copy link"

## **Step 6: Insert the URL into monday.com**

1. Return to your monday.com board where the **Embed your Google Docs in Board**  view is open.
2. On the right side, click on the **settings icon** (a gear symbol).
3. In the settings panel, locate the field labeled **"Google Docs URL"**.
4. **Paste the copied Google Docs URL** into this field.
5. Your **Google Focs** should now display within the board view.
6. **Verify the display** to ensure all elements are loading correctly and are interactive.
